Remove Template First / Last Page Header & Footer

OVERVIEW

You can remove headers & footers from the first, last, or first & last pages of your Quote Template. This is useful if you want a document to start with a title page that does not include a header or footer.

KEY CONCEPTS

DETAILS

This feature is available in Salesforce CPQ 28.0 and newer.

The Quote Template picklist field Exclude Header & Footer controls how headers and footers display on your quote documents:

  • First Page: Documents will not display a header or footer on the first page.
  • Last Page: Documents will not display a header or footer on the last page.
  • First and Last: Documents will not display a header or footer on the first and last page.

Note: Salesforce CPQ considers page numbers and headers/footers as separate entities. Removing headers and footers will not remove page numbers, and removing page numbers will not remove headers and footers. To remove both headers/footers and page numbers from your first and last pages, set Exclude Header & Footer to “First and Last” and Exclude Page Numbers to “First and Last” or “All Pages”. See Flexible Page Numbering in Document Output for additional information.

SETUP

Add the Exclude Header & Footer picklist field to the Quote Template page layout.
