We just launched the latest version of our Next Generation Configure Price Quote app: Salesforce CPQ Summer 17. This release includes new features for theming and integrating CPQ with your Customer Community. We've also developed a more detailed lookup field search process for standard and custom Visualforce pages in CPQ Performance Experience.

Your sales reps can close deals and renew subscriptions with speed and accuracy while providing an easier management process for your admins. Interested in learning more? View our release articles below:

CPQ for Lightning Communities

CPQ for Self-Service is a new way for our customers to connect with their own customers. Our clients can now extend the full power of CPQ functionality to a Customer Community, allowing their customers to self-service when they need to add-on products or licenses to an existing Contract or create a new Quote.

We’ve enhanced Partner Communities to support this effort by extending our Theming Engine, allowing for different types of fieldsets to be used, and having the option to prevent users from creating new quotes from an amendment or add-on workflow.

@lvoelz2 any concerns about summer 17 version being 208? (i.e. is this a production release and not beta?)

@VioletK As of this release, all QTC package versions will mirror CRM's. This means that CPQ 28.1 became CPQ 208, and CPQ 30 will become 210.  This only affects the package title.

@jkuczaj Thank you for the clarification.

FYI- This seems to be an issue in Summer 17, it worked fine in previous version.

We are getting ready to deploy CPQ but are running into an issue.  We currently have CPQ 28.0.4 and we have not upgraded since the contractors we are working with didn't think it was a good idea till we go live and not have to do regression testing on everything.

Here's the issue.  Up till 8/3, we were not having an issue with products that we have to manually enter the usage on the order line.  We are now getting the error:

Upsert failed. First exception on row 0 with id a320S0000000ZzfQAE; first error: CANNOT_INSERT_UPDATE_ACTIVATE_ENTITY, blng.UsageSummaryTrigger: execution of AfterUpdate caused by: System.NullPointerException: Attempt to de-reference a null object (blng) : []-456-(blng)

It looks like this is a know bug (odd that we were not getting this message till after 8/3) with the bug number W-4125868 and references Backport of W-4025115 from Patch 1.

Is there any way we can get just the bug fix for this issue and deploy it into our sandbox to test?

We are already well behind our planned schedule, not to mention over budget.
